The Sales Process

Consultation & Vetting
At Vista Veterinary Transitions, we represent both buyers and sellers. We take that fiduciary responsibility seriously. We meet with every buyer face to face and get to know them personally. We’ll discuss your goals, practice philosophy, and more to find you the right fit. We’ll also work with you to get you financially vetted and ready for the next step of the process.

Seller Meetings & Negotiations
Once we’ve identified a good fit, we’ll meet with the veterinary practice seller and discuss the clinic, practice philosophy, transition plans, employment agreements, etc. We will work with both parties to come to a fair price for the practice and an amicable transition plan.

Finding a Practice
Now that we have a clear understanding of who you are and what you are looking for, we’ll start the matchmaking process. We’ll review our current listings to see if there’s a match and begin setting up appointments. If there isn’t a current listing that seems to be a match, we’ll start prospecting to find you the right practice.

Contract & Closing
Once you are under contract, Vista Veterinary Transitions will finish up the financing with the bank, facilitate the sale of commercial real estate and any other details up to and at closing. After success ownership transfer, we’ll follow up with you to make sure that you were completely satisfied with the entire process.
